Although Poland is part of the European Union since 2004 still circulating in this country the euro. The current
Polish currency
is the
zloty
is divided into 100
groszy.
The history of the zloty as the
monetary unit in Poland
begins in the fourteenth century when the name called ducats zloty aliens made of gold (in Polish
zloty
means "gold"). With the decision of the Polish Parliament in 1496 was said the zloty equivalent of 30
groszy.
Eventually this equivalence was changing, due to variations in the price of silver and gold.
For the first time the zloty as the
currency of Poland
appeared in 1663 under the name
tymf.

foreign exchange reform,

in Polish), some of them open 24 hours. You can also withdraw money in banks with Visa credit cards. In major cities the banking hours are from 09.00 to 16.00 Monday to Friday and from 09.00 to 13.00 on Saturdays.
